The Great Shift: Potential Implications of Official UAP Disclosure

Abstract
There has been increasing interest in the UFO phenomena ever since the New York Times reported (December 16, 2017) the existence of a secret Pentagon program to study UFOs, concurrent with the release of three videos showing high-performing “UAPs” (unidentified aerial phenomena) taken by Navy F-18’s off the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
What might be the potential implications of the United States President and other world leaders disclosing the existence of non-human intelligence (NHI) and technology on Earth? Our hypothesis is that there would be wide-ranging implications. Anticipating and discussing such events can be seen as a proactive strategy akin to national health care planning.
In June 2023, focus groups were conducted that generated 116 potential implications from UAP disclosure. These were narrowed down to a list of 44 items covering science/technology, NHI engagement, government/military, and society/culture categories.
An online survey was conducted in August-September 2023 asking participants to assess each implication on likelihood and impact scales using a Survey Monkey platform. This generated a set of 900 responses via personal networks and paid panel responses. After rigorous validity testing, a data set of 434 valid responses was produced.
Detailed findings of the survey will be shared during the presentation. One primary finding is that greater knowledge of UFO phenomena correlated with more positivity and less uncertainty. In contrast, those with more negative responses showed less knowledge and expressed fewer issues.
Speaker Bio
Tom Curren, B.A., M.B.A. (Wharton) is a former Naval Officer with a successful career as a business executive and consultant. He enjoyed a13-year tenure with the Marriott Corporation as SVP of Corporate Planning and Business Development.
Tom has always been fascinated by major paradigm shifts. He has been an active participant in The Mankind Project, the Evolutionary Collective, and Thomas Hübl’s spirituality group. Tom has also explored ayahuasca journeys in the Amazon and programs at the Monroe Institute in Virginia.
