Abstract
Almost everyone feels that something is wrong and that things need to change. The only disagreement is about what and whom are to blame and what to do about it. The real problem, however, is that we are caught in a local reality well, a phenomenon that occurs when we move towards ego and away from God consciousness. It is a product of our collective co-creation, but we can transcend it individually or collectively – it is our decision.
To get out of this well and back to realizing the God consciousness of our full potential, one must exercise the process of metanoia. Simply put, metanoia means profound transformation. It can take place physically, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually or can encompass an overall life change. As a process, metanoia begins with increasing our understanding of ontology (how things work), epistemology (how we experience and know), and synthesis (how we bring information together to form a new gestalt). It ends with profound change as this new knowledge is integrated into an expanded and enriched worldview resulting in greater and more functional choices. This process then begins anew in a never-ending cycle.
Science, the arts and spiritual inquiry are making new and important progress towards facilitating the cycle of metanoia, but there is still much to learn from each other. This presentation will differ from others in that half our time will be dedicated to a shared audience experience. Please join us in creating the process of metanoia together as partners in co-creating a new and more purposeful reality. You will walk away with new perspectives and approaches to continuing these processes in your own lives.
