Abstract:
The relationship between virtual and imaginary energy will be discussed from the perspective of contemporary physics and esoteric traditions like theosophy and mystery schools. The physics literature describes virtual/imaginary energy as a quantum time-reversed wave in some articles and as a higher dimensional energy in other articles.
The interesting label of ‘ghost fields’ appears in physics journals. Higher order physics equations yield mathematical constructs that describe the quantum behavior of these subtle energies. Of particular relevance is the physics phenomena known as phase conjugation. Bearden describes a similar process called four-wave mixing as a method for generating scalar energy. Phase conjugation converts coherent light energy into virtual energy which is described in the physics literature as ‘time-reversed’. In the biological literature it is known that certain biomolecules exhibit phase conjugation behavior. In the esoteric literature divine energy of the shakti or the shakina pervades all and carries the energies of consciousness.
This talk reviews this literature and discusses how and where the body uses subtle energy to promote healing. It is proposed that subtle. virtual energy forms the energetic basis of the biofield and the life force. In addition, different mechanisms are proposed whereby virtual energy is stepped down to usuable (classical) electromagnetic energy well known to control biochemical and physiological processes. Such a mechanism offers a mechanism for downloading (channeling) of higher dimensional energies into our physical brain.
Bio:
Dr. Rein received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of London. For the past 25 years he has pursued an academic career in orthodox biomedical research at institutions such as Harvard and Stanford Medical Schools where he studied neuroscience, immunology, psychoneuroimmunology and bioelectromagnetics. In 1988, he founded the Quantum Biology Research Laboratory with the help of a grant from the Fetzer Institute. His research has since focused on characterizing new forms of nonelectromagnetic energy by virtue of their effects on biological systems and water. Most recently Dr. Rein has formed a new product driven company utilizing his water imprinting technology in aquaceuticals.
