Abstract

“Remote viewing” (RV) is the practice of using one’s mind and senses to acquire information about people, places, things, and events that are remote in space and time from the person doing the perceiving, using scientifically established tools and methods developed by reputable parapsychology researchers over time.  It first came to public attention and legitimacy in Fall 1995 after it was disclosed that elements of the U.S.  military and intelligence community had been officially but covertly using it for purposes of foreign espionage, rescue/retrieval, and illegal-drug interdiction for almost twenty years.   In the years following, former military practitioners began writing books about it and training interested civilians in the known protocols of remote viewing for civilian applications.

This talk will discuss what remote viewing is and is not, the theories underlying its practice and efficacy, where and how it was developed, its modalities of use and applications, and its limitations.   Recommendations for further learning, training, and practice will be offered for those who are interested.   There will not be time to engage in any demonstrations or trial experiments by attendees of the remote-viewing experience.

Abstract

Dr. Grover’s presentation for BoulderSSE will feature Spiritual Genomics and he will discuss how we can epigenetically (turn on the expression of good genes) shift our mind and body to healthy states by connecting more to nature, movement, sacred geometry, meditation and shamanic plant medicines. Epigenetics is basically the science of how we can help promote the expression of healthy genes and turn off those that may harm us.

Fred’s practice also embraces the importance of mind/body/spirit balance by providing sound healing, psychedelic medicine (Ketamine therapy), and counseling on meditation and other mindful based practices.  Fred is passionate about finding the best strategies for optimal brain health and seeks to find the synergies of mindfulness, hormone balancing, lifestyle, nutrition, peptide therapy, transcranial near infrared light therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy and psychedelics to promote neuroplasticity and a youthful, healthy mind.

He has two other books published, one on the topic of spiritual adventure (Awakening Gaia), and another just published under a pen name, focused on how one can enhance their relationship with their trusted lover through psychedelic journeys together. An upcoming book is being written currently, and will explore the potential benefits of psychedelics in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimers.
